Call for Papers #RCOT2018 Belfast

Promote your successes and share good practice at the only UK occupational therapy conference delivered by the professional body.
Submitting an abstract provides an opportunity to:

  • Raise the profile of your work
  • Collect valuable evidence for your CPD portfolio
  • Publish your work in the Annual Conference online BJOT supplement

Submission categories have been introduced to help you define and target your abstracts and presentations.
Critical discourse – opinion and theoretical based to challenge current thinking and introduce new perspective.
Occupation station – practical demonstration of an occupation and reflection on its use as a therapeutic tool.
Research – completed or ongoing research with data findings and analysis.
Practice development – clinical and management practice that has had a measurable impact.

The Specialist Sections Children, Young People and Families; and People with Learning Disabilities will be running their conferences alongside the Royal College’s.

We are also pleased to welcome members from the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI).

We welcome abstracts from all areas of practice, and will be pleased to receive abstracts co-authored with service users.
